Richard Chapple
Richard is the Chief Growth Officer and Co-Founder of The Growth Foundation, a consultancy driving growth for global direct-to-consumer brands. He has over 20 years of experience in getting under the bonnet of DTC startups, scaleups and multinationals, which will be a valuable asset to the FIGR team when we explore opportunities for consumer businesses to drive growth and customer engagement.
Richard was involved in growing three companies to unicorn status (as CMO at Gymshark, Founder & CEO at THG Ingenuity and Head of Marketing at Play.com, now Rakuten). He loves helping businesses to unlock manageable, sustainable and profitable growth. Rich has held board positions at a number of consumer brands including Nio (cocktails), Snug (sofas), Bother (household essentials) and Ruroc (crash helmets).
Before entering the consumer sector, Rich had a career in music. Rich has a BA in Music Industry Management & Marketing from Buckinghamshire New University.
